No. File checks provide static analysis and, with your consent for advanced analysis, ClamAV and YARA. Keep your device protection enabled.
No. The absence of a warning does not prove authenticity. For sensitive requests, contact the organisation through a channel you already know.
Some checks run locally. With consent, advanced analysis temporarily sends the file to SecurCheck’s private worker. MalwareBazaar reputation checks use its SHA-256 hash. Public reports are anonymised.
Yes. Its structure and the consistency of the request can be examined. This alone does not confirm the account holder’s identity. Confirm new bank details by calling your usual contact on a known number.
