HOW IT WORKS

A clear answer in three steps

1

Submit the item

Paste or import the suspicious item without interacting with it further.

2

Run the checks

SecurCheck examines technical signals and available sources to assess the risk.

3

Take the right action

The report explains the evidence, limitations and practical precautions to take.

What SecurCheck checks

A hash-shaped string is not proof of payment. SecurCheck looks up the TxID on selected networks; independently compare the recipient, token and amount on the correct explorer.

  • Selected networks and valid TxID
  • Available transaction status and confirmations
  • Explorer checks for recipient, token and amount
  • Separate KYT review when required

What to do when something looks suspicious

Stop interacting with the item, preserve the evidence and contact the person or organisation through a separately verified channel.

A SecurCheck score supports a decision but is not a certification or an absolute guarantee. New, private or unavailable signals may remain unobservable.

Look up a TxID on the blockchain

Select the network or networks claimed by the sender. One lookup costs 1 credit regardless of the number selected.

Blockchains to query

Solana signatures use a different format: search them separately from hexadecimal hashes.

Review company receipts and blockchain transactions

A fake transfer receipt or edited screenshot may suggest that a stablecoin or crypto payment has arrived when it has not. A transaction hash (TxID) is only the starting point: finance teams must independently check the transaction on the correct network before recording a receipt or releasing goods. Source-of-funds compliance requires separate controls.

SecurCheck looks up the TxID on selected blockchains: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Bitcoin, TRON and Solana. It distinguishes confirmed, pending, failed, not found and unavailable results. Depending on the network and API response, it shows confirmations and selected public fields. Always compare the actual recipient, asset and amount on that network’s explorer before approving a receipt.

Token transfers and contract instructions are not exhaustively decoded. A confirmed transaction does not prove that your business received funds or establish their origin; SecurCheck does not provide KYT tracing or an AML verdict. An unavailable source is not evidence of absence.
